Spam Policy
Annexring will not tolerate spam and will take any issues related to spam very seriously under strict spam policy guidelines. We use the best possible available Antivirus and Antispam filters on our servers and consistently update it. Our filtering service includes Mailscanner, SpamAssassin, ClamAV, DCC, SARE, Dictionary Attack ACL and Vipuls Razor.
Spams are unsolicited emails that make up nearly 35 percent of messages received. One in nearly every hundred spam contains a virus and could cost billions of dollars globally on an annual scale. To remove a virus from one PC, experts say that it could cost a few hundred dollars or more. To remove virus from a server costs well into the thousands. Each email received is processed through the filtering service, which attempts to detect viruses, and is accurate at least 95 percent of the time.
Annexrings’s Spam Policy is strict and we work with our host server, external and internal components to prevent spamming and spam abuse. Those caught involved in such activities will be prosecuted. We adhere to the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 and do not allow customers, links, or other related partners to participate in spamming activity. As per FTC, spam culprits will be fined up to $11,000 and reports made to relevant authorities. All Annexring emails will have a legitimate return address, reply-to address, opt-out method in the footer, and sender’s physical address. Informative emails and advertisements will be sent to recipients who have consented to receiving such correspondence.
